My Experience
I obtained my university education at the Faculty of Medicine and Science at Masaryk University in Brno, specializing in Laboratory Diagnostics in Healthcare – Bioanalysis. During my studies, I became intensely interested in human genetics, with neonatal screening becoming my main area of interest.
I am currently pursuing a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology and Genetics at the same university. At Sophgena, I specialize primarily in newborn screening and the implementation of advanced molecular genetic methods in this key area of preventive medicine.
The opportunity to fully devote myself to this issue allows me to actively combine my expertise in laboratory medicine with my deep interest in genetics. I firmly believe that every child—and their parents—deserves access to the most accurate health information from the very first days of life.
